WHY WE ARE MEETING

This convening is the first in what we hope will be a series of discussions among Global South groups in the access to medicines and health justice movements.

Our theme for this meeting is ‘Why Health Justice Matters – The Covid Pandemic: Global South Lessons and Intersection with Climate Justice’.

Through this theme we hope to reflect on lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of health justice, and how these can be applied to the work of the climate justice movement. Similarly we hope to explore what lessons and strategies from the climate justice movement can be applied to health justice struggles.

This site will be updated soon with the final agenda, session details and speaker bios – watch this space!
